Walnut is a higher end product compared to Oak and is very much prized.
These boards are made from a single solid piece of Walnut, 2” thick and any length from 18" - 40” long and 8 - 12” in width, so a substantial piece that will last a lifetime of looked after.
Each board is a one of a kind that has been hand picked from storage to give off the fantastic wood grain .
The boards are sanded through various grits and each knot, split stabilised with resin so they will not split further.
Hand finished with Danish Oil for durability and my homemade board butter to give a glorious lustre to the finish.
Each board is fitted with 30mm diameter clear plastic feet and have finger slots at both ends for ease of lifting.
After Care
Never submerge the board in water or place in the dishwasher.
Wet each side equally with warm soapy water to prevent warping and wipe dry.
Apply more metal oil/beeswax food safe finish once per year or when required.
